SWMO Hot Rod Hundred Route Scout 2015

This morning's meeting place was at American National Insurance. A possible starting location, however, leaving that location could be an issue.

I’ve been meaning to run a “Route Scout” since late fall, but life has gotten in the way. With spending free time on the F100 and terrible weather, I just didn’t get it done. I’ve had about a half a dozen routes mapped, just hadn’t had the time to run them in an old vehicle. Today, that has been resolved!

I had been watching the weather report for this weekend, yet failed to clear it with my missus until Thursday evening. Needless to say, I couldn’t roust up anyone to run with me. That was fine, however, because it allowed me to backtrack a few options and stop for some photos.

I’m still working on the starting location, and have some e-mails out, but I ran what is close to the final draft for this year.

The route will start on the east side of Springfield, and will wind it’s way through the following towns: Strafford, Marshfield, Rogersville, Ozark, Highlandville, Galena, and will end at the Crane, MO City Park.

I found the Hubbel Telescope on the square in Marshfield. It's smaller than I expected.

Hey, what's with the caboose shots? Made it to the City Park, in Crane. A great facility, with a large pavilion and plenty of picnic tables.
