John and Delphine’s roadster, which happened to be the “CrossMembersCC Club Pick” award winner.
One of the best parts of being a member of the CrossMembersCC is the opportunity to help host our annual Hot Rod Hundred Reliability Runs. While driving the hot rods through the country is cool, making new friends is even better!
This year, we got to meet a couple who have been long term friends with many of my “hot rod mentors”. John and Delphine Skinner drove their cool ’32 Ford Roadster down from Wisconsin. It just so happened that our event allowed them the opportunity to come down and spend some time with their friends and gave us the opportunity to meet them!
Last night, Delphine sent some photos of their trip to all their StL friends, and cc’d me, so I’m glad that I made the cut! 😉 I shot her back an e-mail asking if she minded if I shared them on the site for all to see, and as you can tell, she agreed to let me do so.
Enjoy the trip through the lens of Delphine Skinner!
