For those of you who know me, and those who have followed the site, you will know that I don’t typically do “car shows”. Car shows just don’t thrill me. I’d MUCH rather be blasting down a highway or cruising through some back roads. There’s just too many places that I gotta see.
On the other hand, when a friend says “Hey, I am putting on this huge event, and we’re wanting to feature a wide variety of cars, and I would really like your cars there”, well…that causes a guy to consider putting the vehicles on display. When he says, “Oh, the event is called “The MAN SHOW – Two days dedicated to all things MAN!!!“, well…that seals the deal!
So…tomorrow and Saturday, I will be down at “The MAN SHOW”, with my ’40 Fords, and doing manly things, like having an awesome mustache and wearing my cowboy hat. I might decide not to use words, and only communicate with my eyes, body language, attitude, grunts and other audible, yet non verbal, noises.
By the way…I will also have some Hot Rod Hundred entry forms at the MAN SHOW. The t-shirts are just about all gone, so there’s no promises being made there, but there’s still room to join and have a blast! That event will be Easter Saturday, April 19, 2014, and will be where “The FUN is in the RUN!!!”

The FUN is in the RUN!!!
Bret, Cool! Hope you have a great weekend. Like the fact the cars are there without anything around them. The people can touch them (still scary, but you hope they have common sense and don’t do anything stupid). But for a young kid, it may be enough to convert them.
Sorry, Mike…Just saw your comment. Yeah, I saw a few of them standing on the running boards and looking in. My car and truck are drivers, so it doesn’t upset me with the kids. It does reflect poorly on the parents of those kids, however!
Any opportunity I get to put a kid in the seat, so their parents can take a picture of them, however, is something that I try to do. That happened at the Man Show, a couple of weeks ago: 😉
You gonna come and join us on the Hot Rod Hundred, in October? Would love to catch up with you there!
