While it will NOT be a featured vehicle on this site, since it is post ’48, this past weekend, Doug and I made a run up to St Charles, so we could haul home my ’54 F100. The truck has been sitting in Dad’s basement since I went off to college, in the fall of 1984.

While in St Charles, and just over the hill, we decided to “Trick or Treat” with a Halloween visit to Dick Carroll’s house. While the Hershey bars were tasty, the garage visit was the real treat! It’s ALWAYS cool to see what he’s got going on in his garage.

I’m sure that I will be quite distracted, this winter, messing with the ’54 and trying to get it back on the road, the ’40 Stake truck and coupe will get to make several trips back and forth between Doug’s shop, so I can work on it. It’s not gonna show up on the site anymore, unless it’s visible in a background shot of my garage.
